Our approach is person-centred and tailored to meet individual needs.

With increasing pressure on schools to achieve outstanding results, and for Local Authorities to deliver against budgets, it is not surprising that many schools are faced with significant challenges in supporting learners to achieve their desired outcomes and successfully transition to the next stage in their education.

Children with an EHCP are up to six times more likely to be excluded for a fixed period or permanently than pupils with no special educational needs.¹ The majority of these pupils will have ASD alongside other communication and learning difficulties.

BeyondAutism’s Outreach service has the experience and expertise to support Local Authorities, schools, families and pupils in overcoming the barriers that result in exclusions.

Our Outreach service is committed to:

• Supporting schools and services in meeting the needs and aspirations of learners with autism.
• Providing support so pupils can remain in their preferred school and in their local community.
• Working collaboratively with other providers and professionals, ensuring they are empowered to lead their service more skilled and knowledgeable.
• Supporting the transitions of students from early years, primary, secondary and beyond to further education and adulthood. We understand the support required with these transitions and have the knowledge, experience and knowhow to support services.
• Early intervention and delivering targeted support, with clear structures in place to fade long term interventions.
• Providing Applied Behaviour Analysis to schools and services the ‘BeyondAutism Way’.
